This study is causal-comparative. The population of this study consisted of all students with and without learning disorder referred to clinical and education centers in the Karaj city in 2014-2015. Sixty people (30 with disorder and 30 without disorder) were selected by available sampling method. To collect data, social anxiety and social well-being scales were used. The results showed that there are significant differences in social anxiety and social well-being between the two groups. In other words, students with learning disabilities had higher scores on cognitive components of social anxiety compared to the control group. The students were lower than the normal group in social welfare. The disability to learn is an important predictor for engaging in avoidance behavior, isolation and lack of involvement in social issues. The results also have important implications in the field of prevention, pathology and treatment of learning disabilities. هدف این پژوهش مقایسهی بهزیستی اجتماعی و اضطراب اجتماعی در دانشآموزان با و بدون ناتوانی یادگیری خاص بود. این پژوهش یک مطالعه از نوع علی- مقایسهای بود. جامعه‌ی آماری پژوهش شامل کلیه‌ی دانش‌آموزان مبتلا به اختلال یادگیری مراجعه کننده به مراکز آموزشی و بالینی شهر کرج در سال تحصیلی94-1393 و دانش‌آموزان عادی(فاقد اختلال یادگیری) همان شهر بودند که از بین آنها 60 نفر (30 نفر مبتلا به ناتوانی و 30 نفر بدون ناتوانی) با روش نمونه گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از مقیاسهای اضطراب اجتماعی و بهزیستی اجتماعی استفاده شد. نتایج تحلیل واریانس نشان داد که بین دو گروه در اضطراب اجتماعی و بهزیستی اجتماعی تفاوت معناداری وجود دارد؛ به عبارت دیگر، دانشآموزان مبتلا به اختلال یادگیری نسبت به گروه سالم در مؤلفههای اضطراب اجتماعی شناختی نمره‌ی بالاتری کسب کردند. همچنین این دانشآموزان نسبت به گروه سالم از بهزیستی اجتماعی پایینتری برخوردار بودند. ناتوانی یادگیری یک عامل پیشگویی کننده مهم برای درگیر شدن در رفتارهای اجتنابی و انزوا و عدم درگیر شدن در مسائل اجتماعی به عنوان جزئی از مردم می باشد. این نتایج نیز اشاره‌های مهمی در زمینه‌ی پیشگیری، آسیبشناسی و درمان ناتوانی یادگیری دارد.
