The aim of the current study was to investigate the impact of math skills education in educational multimedia environment on self-concept and learning of students with disabilities in learning mathematics. The research method was experimental with pretest - posttest design and a control group. The statistical population was composed of boy students with math learning disabilities of fifth grade of elementary school in Training centers for specific learning difficulties is Noorabad in academic year of 2014-2015, among them thirty students who received scores below the cut-off point in mathematics test of Key Math were selected by means of multi-stage cluster sampling method and were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups (n=15). The experimental group received eight 30-minutes sessions of math skills training (skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) in multimedia environment. In order to collect data, Key Math test, questionnaire of self-concept of Jessen School in China (2004) and researcher-made learning test were used. The results of multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) showed that math skills education in educational multimedia environment influences self-concept improvement and learning of students with disabilities in learning Mathematics. (P<0.001). Therefore, according to the development of new educational technologies and computers in specific learning centers and multimedia content provided in this area, using this new method for teaching students with learning disabilities can be considered a new horizon in the educational process of our country.
