Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of psychological wellbeing and spiritual wellbeing in predicting job burnout in teachers with special learning disorder.
Methods: The research method was descriptive-correlation. The statistical population of the study consisted of all teachers of students with special learning disorder in ardabil city. Among them, 100 teachers were selected as the sample using the available sampling method. To collect the data, Ryff Psychological Wellbeing Questionnaire, Paloutzian And Colleagues' Spiritual Wellbeing Questionnaire and Maslach Burnout Questionnaire were used. Data were analyzed using pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regressions.
Results: The findings showed that there is a significant negative relationship between psychological wellbeing and spiritual wellbeing and burnout of teachers of students with specific learning disorder. Also, the results of regression analysis revealed that approximately 61% of the variance in job burnout of teachers of students with specific learning disorder can be predicted based on psychological wellbeing and spiritual wellbeing, with the spiritual wellbeing variable having a greater contribution (p<0.01).
Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that psychological wellbeing and spiritual wellbeing have a significant role in predicting job burnout among students with special learning disorder that requires attention and planning by authorities and practitioners.
