Abstract

The purpose of the present research was
to determine the effectiveness of integrated psychoeducational
program on the Pessimistic explanatory
style students with learning disabilites. This is a
quasi-experimental study with a pretest/post-test
experimental and control group. The sample
consisted of 30 students with learning disabilities in
hamedan city. Assigned to two experimental (n=15)
and control group (n=15). To collect the data, the
Raven intelligence test, The Key Math test, The
reading test and Children Attributional Style
Questionnaire were used. ten one hour session of
integrated psycho-educational program training were
implemented for the experimental group. The
analysis of covariance showed that psychoeducational
program training significantly increased
Pessimistic explanatory style in the experimental
group. These results could support the application of
emotional interventions in academic courses for
students with learning disabilities.
