Abstract

The purpose of the present study
was to determine the effectiveness of verbal
self instruction on social adjustment. This is
experimental study with a pretest/post-test
experimental and control groups. The sample
consisted of 20 students with learning
disabilities in Qazvin, and randomly assigned
into experimental and control groups. The tool
of the research was social adjustment
questionnaire. The analysis of covariance
showed that the application of verbal self
instruction had significant effect on social
adjustment in student with learning disabilities.
This finding can be helpful in instructional and
counseling program.
